We believe each person deserves a monster of
their own. A whisper and secret keeper, a best friend who always waits
for you. Each of them is one-of-kind and was handmade by me (Christa)
right here in our studio. Each will arrive with a tag including
his or her history, hopes and dreams. These ladies and gentlemen are
all available and ready to ship.

"Magic" Crayons
I'm enjoying the day babysitting for my twin nieces and their older brother Alex. He and I enjoy learning new crafts together so, while his sisters napped, we made "Magic" Crayons.
It's a quick and easy kids' craft: Take the
ugly, broken crayons from your collection, remove their paper wrappers,
break into smaller pieces and place inside a muffin tin. You can do each one multiple colors or solid colors. Bake in a
preheated 275°F oven for about ten minutes or until they're melted. Once cooled, they should pop out.
Alex was enjoying seeing them melt through the oven window and this is a great way to teach children how to recycle and re-use old, broken objects.
This post was inspired by a post seen on Instagram. If you're on there say hello and please feel free to post if you've tried this craft.

Goodbye Sam
I'm happy we were able to spend some much needed family time together before he had to travel north to reunite with his newest loved one. The late night board games were memorable and I'm already looking forward to my trip out west.

The Devil Hat
I've been making a few of these hats and will introduce them October 30th at our next craft fair. The show is at a local high school and their mascot is a devil. For more information, feel free to email me.

My Favorite Ogre
So, my little nephew Alex came to visit this morning and modeled my Ogre Hat for a few cookies. He is at the age where he doesn't stay very still, but he liked the hat and we both had fun running around, chasing a ball. When I created this hat, I was unaware Shrek The Final Chapter was coming out later this month.

Ogre Hat in Spring Pea
I'm not sure what your idea of fun is, but mine is making Ogre Hats! These are so adorable and I'm looking forward to sharing them with all of my friends' babies. It seems like all of our friends start having babies around the same time. Maybe it was the cold, long winter? I've added this to my shop today and should mention this will fit children of any age.

Splashy Colors & Baby Hats
The colors are changing all around me! Everywhere I go, there is a beautiful collection of bright splashy colors and dusty blues with greens. I love Fall!
I've also been making baby hats for family and friends. It seems like everyone is or has a baby and they've been cute and fun to make. I'm thinking about making a few to donate and a few for my shop too. If you're reading this and know of an organization or children's hospital, I'd appreciate the suggestion.
