Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. I always reflect on what it means to me. There is so much for me to be grateful for: family, friends, love. I also take some time during the crazy moments to sit back and absorb that moment. What are you thankful for?

Lace In Translation

Tord Boontje was born in The Netherlands.  He studied industrial design at the Design Academy in Eindhoven from 1986 to 1991 and received a Masters degree from the Royal College of Art, London (1994).  In 2005, Boontje moved from London to Bourg-Argental, France, where Studio Tord Boontje is now located. I've been intrigued by his work since the first time I found it and we're currently shopping for his curtains for our home.

Know Better Learn Faster

I simply have fallen for her music and equally for her lyrics. To be honest with you, I haven't been able to listen to much else for the last few days now. I hope you enjoy this little video. Good Things

Today was my slowest Monday ever! I stayed in bed for a little while before getting up to open the curtains and walk the two pugs who are usually tossed about above and below the comforter somewhere. It is super sunny and 70 degrees today and there is plenty to do: cleaning the house, heading to the post office to ship this weekend's orders and of course stopping to find some new fiber for custom projects. Not bad weather at all for November. We had a yard sale this past weekend and today's late morning was well-deserved.
